You can expect professionalism and safe workmanship, a high level of experience and trust on every EBS work site.
Process and safety
Rest assured Emerald Building Services take on-site safety very seriously, for all clients, team members and contractors. The business is a proud member of Buildershield and proactively use the safety management system daily. The process allows workers to take control of their health and safety on site, which helps to protect the workplace, clients, team members and the business.
Our team
The Emerald team is made up of seven enthusiastic, in-house professionals, each offering different levels of expertise. With nearly 20 years of experience under his tool belt, the director of the business Tim Greenham completed his four-year carpentry qualification in 2006 and has been a registered builder for 12 years.
Right-hand man Marc is the onsite supervisor and is approaching a decade with EBS. Harvey is a fully qualified carpenter and one of the newest members to the team. While the three apprentices, Shaun, Riley and Jarron, each at different levels in their carpentry qualifications, bring a fresh and unique outlook to the workplace. Behind the scenes, you may speak to our reception team or Kelly our Operations Manager, who has been running the backend of the business for three years.

We’d be honoured to help you make your ideal home a reality so you get the luxurious, spacious, and beautiful style you deserve.
External trades
While EBS have a reliable and experienced team on deck, they often rely on external trades to carry out extra services. EBS have a great network of 25 – 30 local trade professionals who they work with on all projects to deliver an exceptional product and meet client’s expectations.
Consistent work with trusting and professional external trades helps the flow of construction, aids in reducing any safety hazards and risks, time delays and ensures the quality of work. For these fundamental reasons, EBS commits to utilising this
network of local contractors and avoids external trades people on the job site.
Who is running the show?
Raised by family in the construction industry, it was no surprise Tim’s building career debut was at the ripe age of 16. Soon after completing his four-year carpentry course, Tim became a registered builder.
Now an award-winning carpentry specialist, with a wide range of building style skills from heritage listed buildings through to contemporary style homes, the Mornington Peninsula local is making strides in the building industry.
With four to five projects on the go, Tim makes himself available to each work site for at least two hours per day. While he may not be on the tools anymore, his management skills, attention to client’s needs and project details are beneficial to the outcome of the job.
Maintaining transparent, open and clear communication with clients is Tim’s approach, this includes regular site meetings and updates of progress.
While Tim may not be present on the job site all day, his knowledge and understanding of each project is second-to-none.
The Emerald Building services team and network of trades have established a strong working relationship to allow each project to run smoothly and meet their client’s expectations and deliver on investment.
